Interview Today!!! UPDATED!
Remember that phone interview that I had last week...well, they contacted me late yesterday afternoon to see if I would be able to come in today to meet their staff. Of course my answer was SURE!
I still can't decide whether this place wants to move quickly or not. Their actions have been fairly quick (contacting me for a writing sample 1 day after I submitted my resume, phone interview a few days after that, in person interview a few days after that). However, during my phone interview I asked what their timeline for hiring was and she said maybe the person would start in May which makes me think that they are going to take their time after the interview since they didn't have a definite start date in mind.
In any case, I'm hoping that the interview goes well. It seems like we have a lot of the same values and I'm really interested to hear more about what they do. It's much more in line with what I want to do than my former miserable job 
In the meantime, I'm still applying for anything that seems interesting. I got another application out yesterday. I know how precarious non-profits can be and, given my past experiences, I can't get too attached to anything until it's a done deal.

UPDATE: It went really well. I met with 3 people, the same person I talked to on the phone, their director, and their policy director. All 3 were great to talk to. The director was a little intense at first, but by the end of the interview she was finally smiling...I take that to be a good sign. I think they really liked my answers and I it seems like this place would be a good fit for me. They said that they would make a decision sometime in April...let's hope for sooner rather than later! And now I play the waiting game...sigh.
