Sorry to disappoint but I don't mean the drinking tipsy ;-)
Since the board has been kind of slow recently I figured we can start a little conversation full of tips for each other.
Here you can list any tips you have or wish you knew about when you were pregnant, for newborns, first time moms, babies first year, moms with multiple children, etc
Also if you have any questions that pop into your head you can list them here to.

Keep your kindle or iPad near you at all times. I read the entire time I'm nursing. It keeps me up but also helps me fall asleep faster at night.
When I was toward the end of my pregnancy all I wanted was to be massaged. I highly recommend indulging in a foot massage or back massage as often as possible. People also say that massages help relax you to induce labor.

Also the LC at the hospital suggested tanks/bras for nursing instead of staying in the gown.
I used my flip flops instead of slippers as well. This started because my water broke and I didn't want to leak into slippers. I could rinse my flip flops off as necessary.

TTC - Since September 2011
I 100% went into this experience knowing I would get an epi. What I didn't expect was to have the epi only numb the contractions but not numb (warning - vulgar) my vagina spread open. I felt that part completely no matter how much epi they gave me. That part was worse than the pushing and contractions combined.
My SIL later told me she had 2 experiences where she felt nothing at all or the 2nd time where she felt the same as me.
I also planned on laboring at home for a while. My labor contractions started pretty fast and I labored at home for about 3 hours before my contractions were so close and strong that we rushed to the hospital. I went from 15 minutes apart to 3 minutes apart in 3 hours.
