Pregnant Girls:

How many weeks: 36w1d

How are you feeling? So tired. I could fall asleep right now. I have some errands to run and I'm debating whether to push them to tomorrow so I can take a nap instead. I'm seriously considering taking the last week off before my due date to get some rest and prepare. I've been having a good amount of period like cramping and I think I'm having contractions here and there, but really have no idea. It just feels like a really intense period cramp, lots of pressure, tightening, and like I need to go to the bathroom all at once.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? Bump pic from yesterday. I know it says hospital bag packed, but I'm finishing it up this week. That's part of the errands I need to run - still have to purchase a few items to add to the bag. H is also dragging his feet getting his stuff packed and I'm done asking him.

I wrote up my birth plan yesterday to take to my appt tomorrow morning. I'm wondering if I'll get tested for Group B strep, which I am not looking forward to! I'm really curious to know if I'm dilated and/or effaced. She's still sitting high, so I'm not expecting anything serious to be going on.

I'd say definitely take the time off @mrshall1027, you'll probably feel more relaxed

(Idk what days I'm on but nothing new to report here! We are going to start "actively" TTC and not just being lazy in September, which is coming up crazy fast!)

Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 8 1/2 months!!

How do you feel? Pretty good. Tyrion is finally starting to sleep better !!! He had his surgery this morning and was such a trooper! Glad that is finally behind us !

Any Milestones this week? I've missed a few weeks of posting and he's done tons! Two weeks ago he had his 4 top front teeth break through the gums, we now have 6 teeth! He's getting better at clapping and waving. Just this weekend he finally figured out crawling!

@mrshall1027 - take off if you can! Relax and one last time, grab your keys and just leave the house. I miss that... now I have to pack the whole house up to leave.

@danaocny - I was going to FB message you to see how you guys were doing! I'm glad surgery went well!

How do you feel? Mmm my brain is fried, see me trying to post this in last week's post. Work is crazy and my to do list is a mile long.

Any Milestones this week? ROLLING MACHINE! She's everywhere now. And last night she was pulling herself up on me.

@mrshall1027 Definitely take the time off. You will enjoy the rest. From what you're describing, it sounds like my contractions. I don't remember when my doctor started internal exams, it may not have been until 37 weeks. Don't keep the position of the baby as too much of an indicator about labor. O didn't drop until about an hour before I started to push. I felt her foot in my rib literally right up to the end. I knew I was ready to push when her foot finally left my ribs. Since you're 36 week, you probably will have your Strep test this week. Keep us posted!

Mommies:

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 8 months tomorrow. My baby is closer to 1 year than she is a newborn

How do you feel? I feel good. H is super busy at work, which sucks. My busy time starts next week. I can't wait for my family to be on our regular schedule tomorrow.

Any Milestones this week? She is still rocking like mad, but not crawling. She eats like a champ. She has all sorts of new noises and what sound like word attempts. Her hair is getting thicker.

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? My rant is kind of ridiculous. O has a light knit cap and it's getting small, but she still needs one. I found a cute one on the Gap and ordered it. It looks like a loose knit in the pictures, but it's a close, thick knit, way too warm for now. Also, I ordered 2 sizes and they are both too tight. O's head is tiny, so the sizing is definitely off. She has hats from the Gap that are under 7 pound size and they still fit her. I wanted O to have a spring knit hat, but I can't find one and I don't know how to knit or crochet.

@ramstein1027 , ours is May....WHICH IS NEXT MONTH!! haha.

and on that note, while on Spring Break last week, we discussed that in April we won't use any BC methods, including withdrawl, and that if it happens, it happens. May is when I'll actually be looking at my window to O and making sure we're on it.

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 6 months

How do you feel? Still tired. Wren has been sleeping a little better. But now we're fighting allergies & possibly teething

Any Milestones this week? I'm pretty sure she started teething on Sunday because she was running a low-grade fever and was extremely fussy.

How are you feeling? Very tired. I've been waking up with shooting nerve pain in my back and it is not helping me sleep.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? Anatomy scan was Friday. All look great with baby girl! Can't believe we're halfway there!

@mrshall1027, Like @sjs1013 said A was in my ribs after my water broke! Also, I have a feeling you aren't going to make it to your due date. I'm going to bet she comes this month.

@islandmonkey8, I started getting sciatica at 20 weeks. I hope your back pain resolves. It was just miserable. I did acupuncture at the end to try to induce labor and it didn't work, but it took away my sciatica a few days which was awesome.

Any Milestones this week? He's starting to respond when I call him Peanut. Not to his actual name, but he looks up whenever I say Peanut. I should probably call him his name more often...

Rants/Thoughts/Baby pics? Rant: MIL is stopping over tonight with an Easter basket for A. She called me and said, "I'd like to stop over the Easter bunny skipped your house and came to mine." WTF? I did Easter with my kid. The Easter bunny skipped NOTHING. It just rubbed me the wrong way. I don't mind that she got him one, I think that's sweet. Her wording just chaps my ass a little.

Speaking of Easter, I got A a frog shaped Easter basket and DH lost his mind. He thinks it will confuse A about Easter. So all day Sunday he kept saying, "Happy frog day." It was pretty funny. He was really butt hurt about it. I set a reminder in my phone a week before Easter to buy DH some kind of frog trinket. I'm going to do it every year from here on out, because it will amuse me.

Finally, I think we started the 4 month sleep regression. A woke up 4 times last night. He usually only wakes up twice. I pump every.time he nurses, so it's an our long process when he wakes up. I need coffee or to sleep all day.

I'm going to post an update thread when I get a chance about my nephew. He still needs prayers, but is doing better.

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? 21 months today! Time goes by way too fast

How do you feel? TIRED!!! DD slept like crap all of spring break, i think she is getting more teeth, my hopes of sleeping in a little went out the window

Any Milestones this week? H is trying to get her to count past 10, she is working on perfecting her ABCs, and will sit in her room with a book we have read to her and flip the pages and make up her own story, she is too cute!

Had the GBS test done today. It wasn't as bad as I was imagining and so glad it's over with. My OB said we'll start cervical checks next week.

@goatlady12 I hope your feelings are right!! I am so ready for her to be here! As long as she doesn't come on the 27th (that's XHs bday), I'll be happy.

@islandmonkey8 my friend also has the nerve pain you are describing. She goes to the chiropractor regularly. It helps but it doesn't get rid of the pain. The last time I saw her, he was fitting her for a maternity support belt that he said would help significantly also.

Pregnant Girls:

How many weeks: 23 weeks 3 days

How are you feeling? achy, very achy! Sciatica kicked in the last few weeks as well as hip pain. Standing on my feet at work is definitely getting more difficult.

Rants/Thoughts/Bump pics? We have our 3D scan on Monday and I am looking forward to that! Also, Monday is viability!

How old are your LOs (Little Ones)? Almost 2 and almost 4

How do you feel? Pretty good

Any Milestones this week? The kids birthdays are officially only one month away! Eek! So not ready for that but they are getting excited! The kids also had a great easter last week
