Giving my notice tomorrow! Also a mini rant.
My college has general education requirements and in many cases they give you an area of study and you get to choose a class from that group. This semester I had a list of classes I really wanted to take, none of which fit with my work schedule. I ended up taking classes I didn't want/don't like and paid 3k to do it. Making my fall schedule the other day I realized the same thing was happening, I just said that it is what it is and signed up for classes I didn't want.
I had a clarifying moment today. I was riding home from
class with the windows down, happy, and loving this weather and I realized how
miserable my current class load is making me. I parked, walked right into my old job, asked if she would hire me for the following school year and she said YES! I texted my boss and asked for her to try and find a few minutes to speak with me tomorrow. I am going to tell her I am done after this school year! I just signed up for the classes I originally wanted!
I will be taking a $2/hr pay cut but with the baby bucket list complete this June I just don't care anymore. I can't wait for the fall!

I have the opportunity to TTC and focus on being a college student paying in cash. I don't personally know many others my age who have the ability to even comfortably do one of those right now.

My boss was disappointed but understanding. She is thankful I told her so early. The just have to find someone for mid August. I also offered to come back and help with training because I know how hard that time of year is.
