How was your weekend? We had a great weekend. DH's sisters and their kids were in town. We went to the hot air balloon festival and I had so much fun. We are still tired out from our busy weekend. Last night I moved Abby FF in her car seat and when we went driving she threw up 3 times. There was massive clean-up and it was a horrible night. I thought she had motion sickness, but some moms on my message board suggested it might be because of the ear infection Abby has throwing off her balance. At any rate she is back to RF for a while. DH is asleep on the couch next to me while Abby is playing and I am watching The Heat. How is everyone else?

Poor Abby. Why the rush to FF her? What is the rear facing limit on her seat? Ours goes up to 45lbs RF.

I know it wasn't long enough. I can't wait till June when I have weekends again. Or a week. Or any time to sleep.

There is really no rush. I was asking one of my good friends and my SIL's. They all told me they FF'd their kids around 18 months or so. I know the AAP recommendation is not to FF until 2. I guess I am just excited for the next stage to come. The RF limit on her seat is 35 lbs and 36 inches. She is about 33 inches and 23 lbs. She still has time. I am not "rushing" and not looking for more convenience. I actually think it is easier to get her in the car seat when she is rear facing. So RF is where she will stay.

I moved Lily FF around that age. But mainly because we were taking a long car trip to my parents. Lily did not like RF especially on long trips. A 6 hour trip was taking me 9 hours. Once I moved her FF, we usually make it in 6 and 1/2 hours. I will say Lily is much happier FF so she can see me.

We had a good weekend. Got family pictures taken. Tried to get some of Lily on her own for 2 year pics. They turned out okay. She ended up sitting on my lap for them with me trying to be out of the picture. She was super clingy. And I think we have maybe two pictures with a smile from her.

She is doing much better. She still has a few days on the amoxicillin and she is on a daily dose of Flonase.

late to post but: weekend was good. we picked up some small decor things for the house. Getting anxious! Just waiting for a call so we can schedule a time to go into the title company and finally sign the paperwork!
