My ex husband's new wife as of July of 2014 friended me on Facebook. I'm sure she's a lovely person but I feel weird accepting her request but also feel like a jerk ignoring her. I am confused as to why she would be friending me.
I really have nothing good to say about my ex. He cheated on me with a woman I knew well, called prostitutes and he gambled my money and did drugs (not my cup of tea).
Should I just ignore it, or send her a message asking her politely why the friend request? I admit I am curious but it might be best for me to ignore. WWYD??
Re: My ex husband's new wife
Curiosity got the best of me. I ended messaging her telling her I saw her request but felt weird accepting it but did not want to ignore her. So I just said hi to her.
She claims that I was friended in error because FB recommended me to her? She was kind. Glad it got cleared up. Can FB automatically add people to your page?
Good question. No kids involved. I actually would not have a problem being friends with her if my ex and I ended on good terms (with or without kids). Mainly I didn't accept her request because I'll see things about him and don't want to. I'm not jealous, just don't want any reminders of him.
She was probably just trying to be nice then felt weird saying she friended me when I said I felt awkward accepting. Well, we said hi to each other so that was nice
