LOs Age(s): 11 months, he will be a year in like 3 weeks!

Best part of your week? Tax season is officially over so I can breathe and have time to post!! Also, Nolan is just learning so many new things and he is amazing to watch.

Worst part of your week? Both Nolan and DH had a cough last night and kept me awake :-( I hate when Nolan doesn't feel well and there's nothing I can do!

Milestones? Nothing really new this week.

PIP those kiddos! Here he is eating the other day and passed out with his toys.

LO age: 5 weeks

Best part of week: I guess this goes both ways, switching all of her clothes from newborn to 0-3 months!

Worst part of week: DH had a bit of a breakdown because LO is more attached to me than to him. Some times she can only be consoled by me and it really upsets him. I am trying to make him take on more baby responsibilities when he is home bc that is the only way he will form a better bond.

Milestones: She pretty much laughs at me now but I know she is still working on the whole laughing process. It is just cute to see her getting closer and closer.

When is your EDD? May 18

How are you feeling? Not great. The swelling is ridiculous and carpal tunnel is driving me crazy. I have times when I seriously question how I'll make it another 4 weeks, but then I tell myself it's best for the babies and only temporary.

What are you craving? Sugar still

What is grossing you out? Not much

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I don't think so. There is so.much.stuff.

Appointments? Regular weekly check up Thursday.

Both boys

Names are set

Nursery is almost done if we could get the last letter for one of their monograms. Ugh. Hopefully it comes this week.

How many weeks are you? 7w0d

When is your EDD? 12/07

How are you feeling? tired, and irratable. H and I had a huge fight before I left for work. he has mondays off and I was asking him to prioratize some of the indoor chores...he took that as me calling him stupid...I left the house basically in tears. I've had more nausea and GI symptoms the last few days, leaving the house has been a chore.

What are you craving? not really anything.

What is grossing you out? meat and sweets

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? no. but I'm shopping for new bras none of mine fit me, just going straight to the nursing bras to maybe save some money later.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? First full appointment May 4th.

Have you / will you found out the sex? yes.

Any names picked out? I have running lists. middle names are basically picked out.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? we finally met with the contractor to finalize plans for the basement renovation which will add a 3rd bedroom to the house and allow us to convert the guest room to a nursury.

@formerlyGDaisy09 I was also 7 weeks when I got fed up with my tiny bras and bought a couple. I was up 1-2 cup sizes from my pre-pregnancy size, and I think I got one nursing bra a size bigger than I needed at the time and one other bra, appropriately sized. I ended up going up another size in 2nd tri, and expect to size up some more when my milk comes in. I know you didn't ask for advice, but I just wanted to warn you not to go buy a bunch of nursing bras in your current size in order to save money - they may not fit for nursing!

How are you feeling? Not too bad. Last night I really had heartburn for the first time this pregnancy, and I'm getting lots of aches and pains when I sleep, but none of it is anything I can't handle.

What are you craving? Chocolate

What is grossing you out? Not much.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We went to Toys R Us this weekend with a $15 off coupon, got overwhelmed, and bought clearance easter candy and two books. Maybe we should get crackin' at this point... But the shower is on 5/2 and then my thesis is due the following week, so we're sort of putting things off until then, when we'll have more time and a specific list of things we still need post-shower. Hopefully 35+ weeks isn't pushing it too much for that stuff...

@formerlyGDaisy09 my boobs went from d-dd-g and now I have no idea what size I am. All I know is my boobs at 8 weeks doubled by the time I had my daughter.

Thanks @Sewilson33 and @Apollo11235. I'm only planning to buy a few (maybe one underwire and one with no underwire). pre-pregnancy I wore 30DDD (want to talk about hard to find!) I had a lot of 32DD that are now fitting kind of snuggly. right now the smallest band size I can find at a reasonable price (less than $20) is 34, so I'm guessing a bit on sizes anyways. I have about 3 of my old bras I can still make work, so it isn't an emergency yet.

@formerlyGDaisy09 I forgot to add, I LIVED in sports bras. Having gigantic boobs is very hard during pregnancy and sports bras were the only bras that I could wear comfortably and grow with.

sports bras won't work for a lot of my work-apparel, but I did find sports bra-style nursing bras for $8.99...reviews say they stretch quite a bit. I'm planning to get several of those for weekends/evenings/sleeping. sleeping without a bra is already getting uncomfortable. I actually usually buy structured sports bras with underwires so even those are getting uncomfortable. I'm at a loss for what to wear for running/teaching/zumba zumba was quite uncomfortable last week.

How are you feeling? Just tired really. Super hungry today.

What are you craving? Sweets are my BFF. I also went from hating beef to wanting it always.

What is grossing you out? Pork chops. But not pork overall. I love me some ribs.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? Bought a birdcage like thingy for her wall. I may put flowers or a stuffed animal or something in it. We also bought a chandelier for her room last week, but I can't remember if I already said that here.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Fetal echo is 4/28!

Have you / will you found out the sex? Princess!

Any names picked out? Nope. Haven't looked at the list for a bit.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Ceiling is down. DH has to run a bit more electrical. Then the contractor needs to come back to finish the vent and sheet rock.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I bought a new bed for us. Ours was so tall it was above my waist and I was struggling to get in and out. So I bought a platform bed that is heavenly to get in and out of at night now! We also received the crib and rocker that I ordered last month! This is getting real!

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? GD test and appointment on wednesday.

Have you / will you found out the sex? Team Pink!

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? so we have some furniture, but I still need to get it painted before we can arrange and organize.

When is your EDD? May 17
How are you feeling? Tired of the numbness/swelling in my hands and feet. If it wasn't for my extremities, I'd be feeling really good about now!

What are you craving? Nothing specific

What is grossing you out? Not much

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I had my shower at work and my co-workers were SO generous. My backseat and trunk were full of gifts. I guess they've been waiting 6 years to spoil him, too!

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Today's appointment puts me on the fence for pre-e. I've got a ton of swelling and my blood pressure was higher than it has been, but not yet in the danger zone. She recommended as must rest as possible, no extra activities if I can help it, and we'll check again next week. I had my group B strep test and she checked the cervix. I'm thinning some and maybe a finger tip dilated. It's happening so soooooooon.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? I've got most everything we've received organized. We put together the pack and play yesterday so the cat can get used to having baby equipment downstairs.

Worst part of your week? LO no longer wants to nurse

I'm still working on getting him back to nursing. But I will at least pump until he is 6 months.

Milestones? Started rice cereal 2x a day. Sometimes he loves it and sometimes he hates it

Best part of your week?
sleep! Z is back to sleeping through, but waking up around 6. I'm okay with that if it means no MOTN wake ups for her! G is back to one MOTN wake up, but I think that is because he is so congested. He doesn't even need to eat. I just nose frida the snot out of him, and lay his but back down!

Worst part of your week?
The sickies. No one is safe.

Milestones?
G rolled back to front for the first time (and many more! ) He also is sitting, but is still a bit wobbly.

Z is getting closer to sitting, and isclose to rolling. Soon!

Already Mommies:

LOs Age(s): 1 month (I'm sorry but how does this go so fast?!?!)

Best part of your week? More awake time and some play time on the kick and play piano. Also he is focusing and trying to smile a little.

Worst part of your week? He's added a motn feeding. We went from down at 10/11, up at 3/4, down by 5 with a pumping session after he ate, and up at 7/8. The past two nights are down at 10, up at 1:30, up at 4, up at 7. With pumping, I get about an hour of sleep each time. DH works nights so there's no one but me to take care of that. Hoping its a growth spurt and its over soon.

Milestones? Mommy solo nights and play time.

PIP those kiddos! Half smile I was trying to capture earlier today and the smile/laugh I captured instead. And way over share - awesome shades!

Age: One!
Best: His birthday! The whole day was great!
Worst: He's getting a tooth and is also at the end of leap 8. So he's a big cranky pants.
Milestones: Turning one! He's officially weaned and fully on WCM. He got another tooth (his third). He had his one year appointment today and got some shots.

He measured 32" and is 24lbs 3oz. Here's my guy at his party!

How many weeks are you? 30+4

When is your EDD? 6/25

How are you feeling? Okay. I am an emotional roller coaster right now. I found out today that unless baby is born at 34 weeks or earlier, I could lose my job. There is just all sorts of issues with fmla which leaves me really discouraged.

What are you craving? Sweets

What is grossing you out? French fries, but I may just be the gross ones I had yesterday.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? One of my girlfriends brought me a changing pad, booties that she had knitted, and some preemie onesies just in case we need them.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? I had an ultrasound today and found out that he is 3lbs 7oz. They also think they found and issue with the placenta which could be causing the bleeding. The only bad side is that there is nothing they can do about it.

Have you / will you found out the sex? Boy

Any names picked out? Reid

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? DH just facetimed me to show me an empty nursery. He needs to put together the glider, and start shopping for the other furniture.

Anything else you would like to add or PIP? Is anyone familiar with starting fmla early and the potential that they might not keep your job is you have to be out longer?

@abt8113 I'm sorry you're dealing with that. Unfortunately, I think the deal is that FMLA only requires them to keep your job for 12 weeks. So I suppose you only have until early-mid July before you're no longer protected under the law and would theoretically have to return to work to keep your job. I would hope that most employers wouldn't be jerks about hospital bed rest, though...

@abt8113 - I'm so sorry about the FMLA crap. Have you talked to your employer? Have you been with them a while? I hope they are willing to work with you since this is 100% out of your control.

@abt8113 is there anyway your bedrest/hospitalization can get quailfied as short term disability instead of as part of your FMLA? I think my employer has seperate policies in place for short term disability, i don't know if every employer does, and maybe you've already checked into it, but if you haven't it might be worth asking.

@formerlyGDaisy09They do both at the same time. So, I'm contacting my short term disability, but work uses fmla to protect my job. Hr told me it would be up to my supervisor and manager if they want to hold my job after fmla is over. I've been with the company for 5 1/2 years, so hopefully it's worth it to them to keep me on. It really will depend on the manager's mood bc she can be a piece at times. Hr also told me that I would be responsible for paying all of my insurance premiums once I've exhausted the leave I've accumulated. Which who knows how astronomical that will be especially after I add the baby to it. Sorry to high jack the post, I'm just so irritated by how all of this is playing out.

How many weeks are you? 38w1d

When is your EDD? May 4, 13 days to go. We bought milk today that expires past my due date!

How are you feeling? Meh. Getting pretty uncomfortable, dealing with a cold and ear infection. The constant BH contractions are getting annoying and just anxious for the real deal to start.

What are you craving? Gummy worms.

What is grossing you out? Nothing.

Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? I got her a monogrammed gown to wear home from the hospital.

Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Weekly appt tomorrow. Last week, I was almost 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. If I haven't made much progress, I'm going to ask for a membrane sweep.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? We were able to walk in the nursery today! Our foundation was poured yesterday and we went to check it out today. The framing will be started tomorrow, so all the walls are marked on the foundation and we were able to walk through the layout of the house.
