May is always a big month for releases. What new(ish) books are you waiting for?

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah Maas is May 5th. Illusionarium by Heather Dixon is May 19th.

Otherwise, I have June (Hidden Huntress), September (Queen of Shadows & Six of Crows), October (Immortal Heights) and November (Winter) releases I'm waiting on.

Asa by Jay Crownover released today, but I can't put it on hold yet. (Stupid library policies)

Looking at my not yet released bookshelf shows that most of my books come out in June.

I have had Yes, Please on hold at the library for a few months. I should be getting it in the next week or two, finally!

I have The Shadows on hold at the library. I will also be picking up Asa by Jay Crownover. Lux (The Nocte Trilogy #3) by Courtney Cole comes out this month as well. I can't wait for that one!

Nothing on hold or preorder but I do want to read the new books by Jen Lancaster and Charlaine Harris. I'll even try Anne Rice's new book but I don't have high hopes for it. I'm on hold for The Rosie Effect at the library. Oh, and I think Sarah Pekkanen has a new one coming out in May, too.

Through my library's physical copy hold system: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, People I Want to Punch In the Throat, and Adulting.

I'm on hold for Pioneer Girl, which is supposed to be an updated Laura Ingalls Wilder autobiography. I have heard good things about it! My library has about 15 copies and I'm at 44 on the list.

I don't think it counts since it's been out, but has anyone read the "Wild" book that just became a movie with Reese Witherspoon? I heard one rave review and another friend enjoyed part of it, but she ran out of time and went back on the waiting list. I added it to my list, but I'm over 100 on a waitlist. Is the book that good it's worth waiting for or eventually just buying on discount?
