Does anyone use this service? I'm interested because my library seems to have ridiculous hold lines recently. I can't really tell what types a books are available and I'm either searching wrong or it's not working for me to browse their selections easily. It's worth it to me if the types of books I read are available regularly, but obviously not if I can't find what I'm looking for.

Does anyone have any experience with it? I might try the 30 days trial.

I use it. So far, I've found it to be just okay. I did find things like travel guidebooks and stuff that are nice to get free, rather than have to pay for them. I've probably gotten about 7 books in the three months I've used it.

I think I'll try the 30 day trial once my Kindle Fire arrives, though I'm pretty sure I'll stick with a combination of buying and using the library so I can get exactly what I want.

My co-worker used it and loved it, she said she actually wasn't charged for a few months. I contemplated using it, however, I searched specific books I wanted to read and couldn't find them under the membership. I have a Kindle Fire HDX so I can search under the books if it's prime or unlimited.

How many books do you read in a month? That's my other concern, I'm lucky to get 2 in a month if I really try. While $10 or so isn't bad, I don't feel I"m getting my monies worth at $5 a book, that's like waiting for the bargin sale at B&N.

@dutchgirl76 I read about 4-5 print books a month and the same in audio. So far in my search, I'm not finding a ton available.

4-5 books a month I think would be worth it for the price. Have you tried Audible? If you like audio that might be an option? The Kindle Lending Library isn't that great, I haven't found any best sellers on there other than Water for Elephants which I didn't like.

I had an audible subscription, but I just couldn't justify the cost of listening to the 4-5 a month. I was always itching for the next credits after a week or two. It's odd. I'm far more patient on my wait list for audiobooks than I am with my ebooks/physical books. I just need those ones RIGHT NOW!
