I think I'm probably the dissenter on this, but I think I really liked that one of them finally didn't make it. I mean, how many ways can someone miraculously come back? I was really bummed that it was Selena. iAm's happiness made up for it a bit.

Think we'll hear more from s'Ex (the names need to STAHP)?

I read these books for two reasons... dirty hot sex and my happily ever afters. This is why I say these books are brain candy. They are fun easy reads and I can always predict what is going to happen.

Having the love interest die- IS NOT SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN!

I see what you mean about HEAs. I feel like the series jumped the shark a few books ago, so I think I was pleased that she did something a little different.

Other notes:

1) I still stand firm that the Layla/Xcor thing has to stop. OMG.
2) Assail seemed to lose a bit of his appeal in this book.
3) I'm actually interested in the Paradise novella.
4) I was pleased to see more of Rhage and Mary, but I don't think Rhage's POV worked very well.

Even better! Though I don't like The Fallen Angels that much, so it could go either way.

I HATED the Paradise story line. HATED IT.

I still love Assail and need more of him in future books.

Emo Rhage is not cool. Not cool at all. I want Hollywood Rhage back next book dammit.

I just want a book of all Zadist and Assail. Swoon.

I'm excited that I can finally read this post.

I did not get the Rhage plot at all. I kept waiting for something to happen to him and it just seemed to go nowhere.
