I don't want to move :(
We move in less than 2 weeks (May 3) and I am really sad about it. I love the townhouse we currently live in. It feels like our home. I knew we would have to move eventually since we are renting but now that the time is here, I don't feel ready. We are moving to an older house. The bedrooms are small and there is virtually no closet space, plus it's only one story. Oh and only 1.5 baths. We will have a bigger kitchen with upgrades, a deck and huge fenched in backyard so there are some pluses.
I know I am going to be an emotional wreck when we leave this house for the last time. The memories that I have here are amazing. This is where we lived when we got married and this is the home I brought Liliana home to. She loves living here. We all do.
It's such a shame that my landlord wants to sell now. I bet it's going to sit on the market empty for a long, long time. Nothing is selling around here these days.

I felt sort of similar when we moved out of our apartment. While I hated living in the building and the city that we did, it was the first place we had as a married people.
I agree, you'll make tons of awesome memories in your new place!

I miss our house in Oklahoma sometimes but not Oklahoma. We moved and haven't regretted it. But I can see where it would be hard to leave a place you love. I think whenever we move on from the place we own now, I'll be sad.
