I confess that I have cheated on my diet several time this past week. The Paleo diet is just so hard. I ate 2 boxes of pizza bites last night and don't feel guilty. Well maybe a little since I hid the evidence from DH.

I also confess to buying Mac and cheese and spaghetti-os yesterday. When I went past these they just jumped in my cart.

Two for me today.

1.) I am snacking on goldfish and mini dark chocolate chips. Sooooo good

2.) My cousin and his wife are pregnant with their first baby-they called me right away when she was 5 weeks (he's always been like a brother to me), now she is into her second trimester and they finally told the whole family, including my parents. Last night, I was at my parents talking about what a good father I think he'll be and how he reminds me more and more of our grandpa (who passed away in 2000--this baby would be his first great-grandchild). All the sudden I hear something fall on the ground. I look down and a quarter has fallen--seemingly from no where---on to my parents kitchen floor. I was standing next to Chad, and neither of us had pockets in our clothing or were carrying our purse/wallet, nothing that could hold a quarter. We weren't near anything, just in the middle of the kitchen. Unless this quarter fell out of the ceiling (one of those white 80s popcorn ceilings), idk where it came from. So I pick it up and it's filthy, it looks SO old. I can't even read the year. Plus it's all bent. I rinse it off and can just barely make out that it's a year 2000 quarter. It was just so weird I was talking about grandpa and this fucking quarter fell out of the sky dated the year he died. I know a skeptic would say it doesn't mean anything, but I think it did.

I confess that I look forward to the heating pad portion of my physical therapy as spa time...it's the little things in life.

I also confess that the place I go to for physical therapy is right around the corner from the place where I interviewed earlier this month. I've had to hold myself back from knocking on their door and asking if they've made a f'ing decision yet! They will be getting an email from me next week though!

I'm going away overnight tonight and will be away from T until at least noon tomorrow. I am looking forward to the drive by myself to Penn State to see Garth Brooks, meeting my girlfriends there! I feel guilty for leaving the baby but am totally looking forward to a night out! Secretly hoping H sees how much easier he has it that he just has to take care of the dog and cook dinner on a normal night.

I just want to go to Target! Alone. Wander around. Look at pretties. Every time I think of a reason to go after work (it's on my way home), but parents are like oh, we can get that for you at walmart! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Just let me have some me time!!! I don't want to say no, because they are just trying to help me. But I think I'm going to ask them if my working Friday, I can just have some time for myself before I get home. I'm off every other Friday, and the Fridays I get off an hour early.
