Receipts

How long do you keep your receipts for purchases both special and everyday? Are they organized by type or alphabetized? Do you keep some longer then others?

Re: Receipts

  • Mine are usually crumbled up and stuffed into my purse. If it's an electronic or something I'm iffy about keeping, I keep it in a certain pocket in my wallet, but it is in no way organized lol.

  • I don't keep many receipts. if it's important enough to keep it gets filed
  • I throw them in a basket for things I *might* need to take back.  Then I go through it when it's overflowing.

    Yup, this is me too!

H has a bad habit of saving ALL his receipts and piling them on our dresser.  Probably half of them are Taco Bell and Wawa receipts.  Nope. You don't need to keep those! Throw them away!
