What's everyone up to?

Waiting for DH to get home from work while I cook some dinner.  Every time we tried to go out on a Friday places were way too packed, we decided Friday date night is not the best idea.

If the weather was nicer, we would go out for ice cream after.  But its the end of April, and I have the heat on at home.....WTF!?

Also, we have a 1st Communion to attend on Sunday.  Any idea what I should give as a gift???

Re: What's everyone up to?

  • We are staying in tonight.

Tomorrow we are headed to Portland to visit with friends for lunch and dinner out. It is going to be expensive but a lot of fun!

Sunday we really really need to clean the house. It is getting gross.

I have no idea on a gift. Picture frame to commemorate the occasion? Cash?

  • DH and I just had dinner at the IL's with BIL. We had shrimp, beef, and mushroom kebabs with pan fried cabbage.

We are going to out for a couple drinks later with BIL, and we are looking forward to that!

No idea about a communion gift...sorry!

  • We just got back from a dinner out.  I spent the day supervising the installation of our new HVAC and trying to figure out DH's insurance policy on infertility treatments and in-network REs.

Good news is that it is "covered" but not until we hit a $2,600 deductible and then we still pay 20% until we hit our OOP max at $7,600.  Then IF I get pregnant and it spans calendar years (and lets be honest, most pregnancies do) then all of those numbers reset on January 1st.  So annoying.

Our Ins. policy changed this year to allow pregnancies that span two years to count twice. That means 6k of deductibles or 16k max OOP. I am far from impressed.

    Good luck!
