WTF work (again). Yesterday was so bad I just went out to a bench in the parking lot and cried for 15 minutes. I don't even know what to do anymore.

WTF yesterday. I had to be at a class that my office was giving from 12:30 to 4 then the same class from 6-9 plus I had to be in the office in the morning. The only thing that I had to do at the class was take attendance and hand out certificates of completion. I was sooooooo bored especially since this was my 9th and 10th times sitting through the class. To top it off there is no cell phone service in the building. It was like I was in a lead box all day.

The only good thing about the day was comp time. Yay!!

WTF H. When I told you I think we should BUY cupcakes for J's birthday party next weekend, it was because you will be working until 8 PM for the 4 nights leading up to his party and I will have too much stuff to do on my own.

So, your solution was to be to buy cupcake mix and make the cupcakes on Tuesday when the party is on Sunday. Um, no. We are not serving our guests 5 day old cupcakes. Now, I have to make the cupcakes on Saturday along with every.other.mothereffing thing I need to do that day. Including making an egg-free smash cake for our egg allergic kid. Yeah, you can't buy those at bakeries.

True, but that would also assume that I had any amount of freezer space available. Whomp whomp.

UGH so many WTFs today!!!!

First, on Monday, I emailed about the job that I interviewed for almost a month ago. I got a response yesterday saying that they're really busy and may still be hiring someone. If they're still interested, they'll contact me in the next month or so. Um seriously, why did you waste my time with a phone interview and an over 1 hour in person interview?!? I'm so frustrated that this scenario keeps happening over and over again. I understand that it's an employer's market, but that doesn't mean that they can treat applicants like sh*t. So, SO frustrated! I'm also feeling so defeated that I'm an extremely educated person and can't find a freaking job!

Second, I'm dealing with medical bill BS from my broken foot. When it first happened, I went to an urgent care to avoid the ER. That urgent care had x-rays, but didn't have splinting supplies. So I still had to go to the ER. H and I picked an ER that was in network with our insurance. The urgent care place called the ER with my diagnosis. At the ER I'm seen by a PA for 2 seconds and then given the splint by an ER tech. I get a bill from the PA (separate from the ridiculous ER bill) for another $350. I called my insurance company about why they hadn't negotiated that down (we have a high deductible plan because we're usually very healthy). They didn't negotiate it down because that PA was out of network...seriously hospital in network PA was not! Long story short, the insurance company finally gave me a fair rate of $75. However, the asshole PA group isn't accepting that amount as fair. So, I just had to write an appeal saying that $75 is certainly fair for the 2 minutes I saw that PA and given that the PA did not diagnose me (that was done by the urgent care).

Needless to say, I'm really pissed off today!

WTF body. A bloody nose. I haven't had one in over 20 years. And, it happened while I was pumping, so I was completed ill prepared. I ended up using my cami to try and control it.

So, my hometown got nominated for a nationwide contest. If we win, we get renovations done on our ice rink and get to host an NHL game next season.
Why the mentioning of this on the wtf post? My frustration over lack of planning. If the company knew people were going to be flooding their site with votes, they should have prepared better.
I've tried getting on all day and it just keeps crashing. I'm apparently not the only one it happened to. I just want to get this done since the ballot ends tonight at midnight.
