It's weird because people always say they feel like a slacker for not reading much, but I feel like a slacker because I have so much time for reading...

Don't feel like a slacker at all! I don't use enough of my free time to read, I have an easier time falling into a DVR'd show or Netflix than a book. This group is helping motivate me to use my free time more on books.

  • I slacked off this month.  I read:

Bitten (Women of the Underworld #1) - Kelly Armstrong - 3*

    Stolen (Women of the Underworld #2) - Kelley Armstrong - 3 *

    Atlantia - Ally Condie - 3*

Open Road Summer - Emery Lord - 3*

    Midnight Crossroads - Charlaine Harris - 3 *

I'm at 28/115 for the year.

  • Slacking this year big time. I read more when my middle child was a baby and toddler than with my current one year old! (third and last) I also fall into netflix and dvr all too often so I only read during the day/before we start tv for the night when the kids are in bed. So I read at nap time or when she is playing independently. Anywhoo no one cares!

I read Gods in alabama and half of The Nightingale in april. Just finishing up and have a stack of good books (I hope) waiting for me from the library. The martian, the girl on the train, last letters from your lover, first frost, the duff....
