QOTD 5/6

If someone knocked on your door while you were wearing your comfy clothes, (aka "the only thing I want to do right now is lay on the couch eating ice cream" clothes), would you be embarrassed to answer it?

  • Comfy clothes? No. I just won't answer the door naked. But I also won't answer the door if it isn't someone I know.

  • It depends on what comfy clothes I have on. I have a pair of shorts that I think are really comfortable, but H makes fun of me because they are incredibly short, haha!

  • I'm always in comfy clothes ( I don't think my neighbors think I own anything else- they are never out when I'm actually dressed! They only see me when I take the dog out Lol) it would be more surprising if I actually had something else on and answered the door! As soon as I get home I get comfy!
  • I guess it depends on what it is. If it's yoga pants and a ratty sweatshirt (like most days), I'm cool. If its old holy pj's, not cool.

  • The second I walk in the door i change into comfy clothes and the bra comes off, so would I answer the door? Most likely depending on who it is.
I almost always take the garbage out and get the mail in my PJs too!

  • I think it would depend who and what I was wearing.
For some reason, the story that came to mind was when a cop showed up to the house. (Insisting that someone from the house called from the landline even though it is not active) I had just gotten home from work and was basically in a skimpy night gown. As soon as I heard the doorbell, I beelined for the bedroom and hid in a robe.

  • yep. As soon as I get home, I'm in my comfy clothes. THe other day we had a neighbor ring the doorbell because he'd noticed we got a package and was wanting to find out if there was any info on the driver because the UPS dude came flying over the hill and almost hit 2 kids on their bikes. ANyways, I was wearing my new shirt that says "I'm an intelligent, well-educated, classy woman who says "f***" a lot" I made sure to cross my arms. hahaha.

  • I would be embarrassed most days. I am also one of those that the instant I get home I'm in pjs with no bra. Today I am rocking a pair of pink capri bottoms with olives all over that say olive you, an old blue Aero tshirt of DHs and green and purple Incredible Hulk socks.

  • I have some comfy clothes that are decent to be seen in, but I have some others that are just terrible.  I'd probably still answer the door even if I was wearing the terrible ones.  I think the only time I won't answer the door is if I'm not wearing a bra.

  • Oh man I'll answer it in a nursing tank, yoga pants and spit up in my hair.

I'll answer the door in pretty much anything. If it's something really awful, I might hide behind the door, but probably not. I also have no problem running outside to throw something in the garbage in whatever I'm wearing.
