Thankful Thursday
I'm thankful for our local library. It's so great to have a place I can take Lily that is free, fun, and educational. We've made friends there. She loves the children's librarian. And it gets us out of the house several days a week.
I'm thankful that my mom called me earlier this week. She is usually so spacey and forgetful in whom she talks to. She'll tell my sister stuff and then she told me.
I'm thankful that I live closer to my grandparents. I haven't seen as much of them as I would like to in the last 10 years. Having them less than 2 hours away, I've been able to visit them several times since we've moved to CO. This past week they found growths on his liver and kidney. He's been feeling poorly and his blood work was bad so they did a scan. They will be doing more tests. I'm hoping it's not cancer. But regardless of what is wrong, I'm so thankful that I've been able to spend this time with them, that Lily has gotten to know them, and that I'm close enough to still be able to visit frequently now versus the 13 hours away when we lived in OK.
