Re: Mommy and Mommy 2b!
Best part of week: I'm just so in love everything makes my heart swell with her. She has really started associating DH with play time which I LOVE watching.
Worst part of week: ugh today I was trying to carry a laundry basket and LO downstairs. I lost my balance and the started falling toward the corner of the wall on the side I was holding Sophia. I ended up turning my body but still pushed into the wall with her little finger :-( I felt soooo awful and she cried of course. But luckily she wasn't really hurt and it could've been so much worse had I not turned us as I was losing my balance. No more multi tasking for me!
Milestones: I guess we can count a growth spurt as a milestone. She must be going through one because her night time sleep schedule has been wonky all week.
Mother's Day! My 1st one ever yay! We are doing brunch with DH's family and then dinner with my dad. My mom is away so my dad is coming up to celebrate with me. Hopefully DH will take on the 5 am feeding so I can sleep the whole night. That's all I want for Mother's Day!
PIP: morning giggle session

What are you craving?
sea salt and vinegar potato chips
What is grossing you out?
meats-chicken especially
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately?
nope-though it gets more and more tempting to do some shopping, even though I know it's still early
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments?
I had my first full appointment today, they're questioning my fertilty friend, BBT ovulation date based due date. LMP would put me at a Nov. 18th due date, which would put me at 11w 5d. They couldn't locate a heartbeat this morning, which made them think I'm closer to 9w than almost 12w, but I have a dating ultrasound next Thursday.
Have you / will you found out the sex?
we will
Any names picked out?
We have running lists...but I think Charlotte is out.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes?
waiting on a couple pieces to submit to the bank for a renovation loan for the basement so our guest room can become the nursury.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP?
Congratulations to all the new moms...I'm not sure I hit every thread!
Are you planning anything for Mother's Day?
When is your EDD? June 9
How are you feeling? Not bad. I feel like I got huge sometime in the last week and a half, and the swelling, trouble sleeping, etc. has come with it. But still not much to complain about.
What are you craving? Chocolate and fruit.
What is grossing you out? Nothing, really.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We had our shower on Saturday, so lots of new stuff. Tons of books, onesies, sleepers, etc., some baby care items like diaper rash cream and a grooming/healthcare kit, and a good amount of the cloth diapering stuff that we needed. DH's family also sent us a PnP last week, and a friend lent us her co-sleeper today.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Regular appointment tomorrow morning.
Have you / will you found out the sex? Not for a few weeks, at least!
Any names picked out? Yep
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It has more baby stuff in it after this weekend. Nothing set up though, really.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP?
Are you planning anything for Mother's Day? We've talked about doing something but haven't made any specific plans yet.

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussWhen is your EDD? 7/22/2015
How are you feeling? Yucky. I had horrible allergies last week, which turned into a nasty cough/cold. I laid around all weekend, have watched all the horrible TV I can stand, and even stayed home from work today. I hope I get over this soon.
What are you craving? nothing
What is grossing you out? most food right now, but I think that is more from being sick
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? nope. But our first shower is this Saturday!
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Still waiting on the results from the 3hr test. Hope they call today.
Have you / will you found out the sex? Team pink!
Any names picked out? Nope.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Starting the guest bath renovation today. The final stage of that is paint, and I'll have the painter do the nursery too. So... should see progress soon.
Are you planning anything for Mother's Day? My Aunt's are throwing me a shower Saturday. It is about 5 hours south of us, So Sunday will be driving back. But my mom and MIL will be there, so hopefully we will all do brunch or something before we drive back to Dallas.

TTC - Since September 2011
Best: Just every day has been great.
Worst: He had a miserable night on Friday night. He kept waking up. We're pretty sure he had a nightmare.
Milestones: Nothing new
AF is showing her face today after not being around for almost 2 years. While this is good because it means TTC #2 is underway, I actually O'd two weeks ago and was really bummed to see a temp drop yesterday.
Here's the big guy.

DS delivered naturally at 41w6d on 4/18/14
LOs Age(s): 6 days old!
Best part of your week? Learning that he is healthy for being born at 31+5. Also holding him for the first time. I didn't get to hold him for the entire first day, so when I was finally able to it was amazing and so emotional.
Worst part of your week? Leaving the hospital without it. That was probably going to happen anyway since my doctor was predicting delivery at 35 weeks, but it was still the most difficult thing I have ever done.
Milestones? Breathing on his own (after extubating himself), tolerating increased feedings, and going off of IV fluids and nutrients! DH also changed his first diaper ever!
Any plans for Mother's Day? Just hanging out at the hospital with my little man. It's also my birthday, so it's pretty cool to be celebrating both those things on the same day. My mom and dad are coming in town again, and my sister and her husband are coming to. I can't wait for my sister to see him for the first time!

When is your EDD? May 18th
How are you feeling? Ok. Let swelling is ridiculous and carpal tunnel sucks, but so happy we made it this far!
What are you craving? Sugar still
What is grossing you put? Not much
Bought/ received anything? Mom brought a couple new toys and socks. I ordered my belly bandit for PP.
Big appointment tomorrow- BPP, growth scan, internal- want to see if the doc is going to keep waiting or reschedule the section.
Both boys
Names confirmed.
Nursery is done!
No plans for Mothers Day. I'm on couch rest due to the crazy swelling, so I don't know if my mom will come to me or what tomorrow's appt holds.
LOs Age(s): 6 weeks
Best part of your week? Smiles and laughing.
Worst part of your week? Going back to work even if it's working from home for 6 weeks. It takes away from my cuddle time and it seems too soon
Milestones? Smiling more on purpose. Sleeping a 6 hr stretch at night fairly consistently.
Any plans for Mother's Day? We do the Race for the Cure every year in memory of my FIL. Other than that, not too sure.
LOs Age(s): 9 days
Best part of your week? Every day with her.
Worst part of your week? Deciding to bottle feed instead of breastfeed. She just didn't want to latch and I was really starting to loose it. It's still upsetting, but it's what's best for her.
Milestones? Does surviving the first week count?
Any plans for Mother's Day? We are celebrating with family on Saturday. I still need to figure out what to get my mom. I'm going to ask H to cook me french toast on Sunday. He makes the best french toast!
PIP those kiddos!
BFing is hard and doesn't work for everyone. Just know you are doing what's best for you and baby and your daughter is healthy.

Noah had a champion latch while we BF but he refused to stay awake so we had to change things up. We're doing what works best for our family just as you're doing what is best for yours.
