  Saturday my sister and I planned to go to my mom's and have dinner there.   Hanging out at my parents.  Probably grilling--Mom says she wants Cuban food.  I have her card but still need to get her a gift.

  On Sunday we are having my mom, D's parent's and his grandma over for a BBQ.  We extended the invite to his grandma because she has some health issues and nobody is really sure how much time she has left, so D likes spending as much time with her as possible. 

  
  

  My ILs are vegan so I created a bean and mushroom burger patty for them. I'm even attempting to make a vegan lemon meringue pie!

  We are celebrating with family tomorrow at my aunts house.  I'm excited to take Aria to her first family get together.  Only thing planned for Sunday is I asked H to make me his french toast for breakfast.  We'll probably just hang around the house all day.

  We're probably visiting both sets of parents on Saturday or Sunday while in town. Nothing too extravagant. 

  We already gave H's mom her gift (we usually do some sort of big combination birthday/Mother's Day thing for her since her birthday falls during the end of April). I still need to get my mom's stuff wrapped and get something small for my bio mom too.

  Today we're going to visit H's mother. His grabdmother will be there also. I think we're have a BBQ. Tomorrow I would like to do something just he 3 of us during the day. I think we're going to my mom for dinner.

  I'm going to my nephews baby dedication on Sunday so that will be my Mother's Day. A few years ago DH and I went to my nieces baby dedication on Mother's Day and my step sisters FIL went around and asked everyone to tell stories about their mother. It was so awkward for me. I mean what am I supposed to say since I didn't even get to know my mom. I am hoping this doesn't happen again.

  We're going to a seafood buffet. MY SISTER IS COMING! I really need to update in the may post. But my mom asked to be her friend on fb and my sis accepted. Then my neice told my mom they were going out for mother's day. My mom wanted to go too, so I text my sister. She responded that she missed her parents more than anyone knew... So fingers crossed it goes well!
