  I just near about keeled over and died at that point.  
  

   

   I remember texting the Mafia in all CAPS to emphasize my displeasure of having read that.  But then I totally understood the Mafia's extreme hatred of Leghair.

  I almost did the "throw the book across the room thing" after reading that.  BUT, I didn't want to wreck my pretty hardcover.

  When H and I were in Ireland one of the first signs I saw said Laoghaire and I yelled out "UGH, I HATE LEGHAIR!" and I got this completely weird look from him and had to explain that I did not mean that in the literal sense (although, that is true too).

  ok...what the flying eff is going on?  I was able to read a little bit more last night on my phone (since I left my Kindle at work) and saw that Little Ian got stolen by pirates, Leghair wants $$, the daughter isn't his, Claire just went with him anyway without beating the shiz out of him (I would have totes stuck my finger in his wound...just saying).  Then...Janet--seriously?  Trader!
