TTC #1 August 2014. BFP 9/26! EDD 6/9/15
Baby A born 6/17/2015
Re: Mommy & Mommy 2B Monday
When is your EDD? June 9
How are you feeling? Big. BH have picked up, and some of them are starting to feel like they're trying to do a little something!
What are you craving? Sleep, at the moment.
What is grossing you out? Nothing out of the ordinary. So many bugs in our apartment today, though. Yuck.
Have you bought/received anything for the baby lately? We completed our Target registry this weekend and got a monitor, nursery hangers, some swaddle blankets, a nursing tank and a robe for the hospital for me.
Ultrasounds? Betas? Appointments? Next appointment is tomorrow. And I just got my GBS results online - negative! Yay!
Have you / will you found out the sex? Not for a few weeks!
Any names picked out? Yep.
How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? It's getting there. I have the dresser/changing table organized, and now we just need to figure out where the stroller, PnP, etc, are going to live so we can get them out of the middle of the room.
Anything else you would like to add or PIP? I (mostly) packed the hospital bag tonight. I can't believe we're verging on ready for this ish.

"You know you're in love when you don't want to fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams." - Dr. SeussBest part of your week? Having them and bringing them home! Also, Mr and I have gone on 2 lunch dates by ourselves. And I've lost 55lbs since birth- only 10 more to go!!
Worst part of your week? I think Cameron is going through a growth spurt/gets too tired breast feeding. Not sure what it is, but he is pretty fussy.
Milestones? N/A
LOs Age(s): 8 weeks (2 months on Friday)
Best part of your week? Smiles and the start of giggles. Also my supply is finally increasing and we're down to 1-2 formula bottles a day, whereas it used to be 2 oz at each feeding.
Worst part of your week? Ugly crying most of yesterday evening. DH and I got into a small argument and it really hurt my feelings. Then we decided to try putting LO to bed without the swaddle because he keeps breaking out and waking himself so that resulted in extra crying from LO that made me cry more. LO slept 11 hours with only one MOTN feed so that part went well but I'm still upset with DH.
Milestones? Sitting in his bumbo and exersaucer. Still doesn't have complete head control but we sit with him and let him look around/play which he loves.
PIP those kiddos!
Best part of week: We went to visit my sister and meet my new niece and my LO met my sister. It was the best weekend ever!
Worst part of week: LO has pretty much started weening herself off breastfeeding. It's a mix of good and bad for me right now. I haven't fully decided of I'm okay with this new development and want to let her make this choice.
Milestones: LO is definitely starting to teeth. Holy cow! The pedi told me her gums were swollen last week and since then she has been drooling excessively, gumming her hands, and getting moody.
DH was an early teether and so was my nephew.

Best part of your week?
Watching her face light up when we get to daycare and she sees the other kids. She loves it there, and it makes leaving her so much easier.
Worst part of your week?
Going back to work. :-(
Milestones?
She's such a chatterbug. Constant chatters, coo's, gurgles, and squeals. We transferred her to her crib last weekend, and she's been sleeping 9+ hours straight every night. It's amazing!
She has also been bulldozing herself forward when on tummy time. She hasn't figured out the purpose of her arms yet though, so she pushes herself forward with her legs but her chest is still laying on the ground. Silly kid.

How is the nursery coming along? PIPs? Themes? Painter is coming next Monday to paint. I found an awesome dresser/nightstand at an antique store this weekend. I'm trying to figure out if we can paint or if it is better to hire that out. I want it a high gloss white, which is making me nervous to do myself. Will attach a picture.

Best part of your week? Being able to stay home instead of going into work. I had to go in last week to help because two employees quit and we had to meet some deadlines. It was nice to be home with LO all day and have some cuddle time.
Worst part of your week? She has thrush and it's making her miserable. I'm hoping the meds kick in soon and start to clear it up faster.
Milestones? She's lifting her head like crazy and it's like she wants to do so much more but can't and gets frustrated. She wants to constantly be moving and looking at things.
PIP those kiddos! Shared a preview of her newborn photo session in HDBD.
