Dehumidifiers: Name a MM brands that are quiet and work well

I'm looking to buy a dehumidifier. Does anyone know of a MM one that is good for at least a 1,000 - 1,500 square foot space?

I'm looking for a brand that works very well and is QUIET when running.

Sorry I'm not much more help. The two dehumidifiers I have experience with are very loud.

Yep, this. They sure do get the job done though.

This might be helpful (clicky). The top rated one does up to 3,800 sq ft and is 53 decibels (between bird calls and restaurant noise).

I think ours is a frigidaire- it's going on 8 years now and it's quiet.. I don't hear it on the ground floor anyway. We're really only in the basement for laundry, working out, and the girls have an art space down there (we don't have any finished rooms down there).

We have a fridgidaire also -- #7 on the link @AprilZ81 posted. It works really well. I'm only really around it when I'm working out or doing laundry in the basement, and after about 2 minutes, I don't hear it anymore.
