  So, my BFF was in town for business yesterday. We had plans to meet up for dinner last night. We ended up just going for coffee and then an hour later I was on my way home. It turns out that she was staying with a friend from college, so I'm pretty sure she was all in a hurry to get back to her other friend.

  
  

  Normally, I wouldn't care...but I feel like I'm always playing the role of second fiddle with her. She's the type that has a million "friends" whereas I have a few REALLY good friends that I consider family. Whenever she comes to visit this area, she's always running around spending time with everyone else. I'm really not a possessive friend, but it hurts that she seems to care more about seeing these other people when I'm the one who has dropped everything in the past to be there for her on numerous occasions.

  WTF manager at work?  Why did you schedule me for the closing shift last night and the opening today?  And wtf customers?  Can't you read the signs that say the price of what you're buying?  If you don't like the price, just don't buy it!  Stop complaining to me about the price of whatever; I have no power to change prices and nobody is forcing you to buy that particular item.

  WTF schedule... why must everything good fall during my late days?!

  
  

  I found out that I was scheduled to be late shift on the day of my sister's graduation from high school. I got asked to switch shifts tomorrow with a girl in my lab since it was absolutely mandatory that she be there in the morning. (Load of crap in my opinion, but I digress..) So, I'm working late tomorrow. I basically demanded that the only way I will cover it for her is as long as she's covering my late shift in two weeks so that I can attend my sister's graduation.

  I find out today that my sister's last band concert is tomorrow. So, I would have been able to go...had I not switched. Thankfully, she's not disappointed once I explained why I switched.

  
  

  And now I have another issue to deal with. My childhood best friend texts me out of the blue and tells me that one of the movie theatres in Pittsburgh is showing a favorite film of ours from when we were little. One night only. Guess who's late shift it is? Ugh.

  WTF H, thanks for changing the password on the computer and not telling me! I am the one who has to pay the bills!
