I scored an Eb clarinet for the museum yesterday. It was used by a member of the Norfolk & Western band and it is exceedingly rare (for non-musicians this is the smaller than standard, or Bb clarinet) to find an instrument used by a member of this group. I'm super stoked and didn't even mind that I smelled like very old instrument for the rest of the night last night.

I was stupid excited last night for the Survivor finale and how Jeff Probst put some of the players from this season in their place. I was about to give up on Survivor but he saved me as a viewer.

I thought about it so much that I couldn't fall asleep.

I'm sick of being on a diet...I hate watching what I eat and trying to fit in exercise. I wish I can find my motivation or just have a really great metabolism. Also I haven't lost a thing in the past 3 weeks and it makes me more defeated. I just want to go out and have a big plate of nachos and a cheeseburger and not care lol.

Whenever I got to this point, I'd give in for a cheat and presto! I'd start losing again. It's almost like a reset for me. I bet there's some science behind it, but I'm not that smart. Not that I'm advocating... or not... I don't want to derail you either.

I just found out that my cousin and his husband are fostering an itty bitty baby named Braden with the hopes that if all goes as planned, they will adopt him.!!!!!!!!!

I am insanely excited for them. The baby is soooooooo adorable.

I was updating my TBR list to add Me Before You.

Then I saw that the Khaleesi and Neville Longbottom are working together in the movie adaptation of Me Before You.

Then I saw Matthew Lewis's magazine cover.

Now I feel a little pervy.

My baby dog Chief is sick this week. He's either doing tons better and will be just fine or his heart is giving out because it's too small for his big old body. He came home from the vet last night and is on TONS of valium, so we won't know until Saturday if he's recovering, but he couldn't stand up and wag his tail when I left for work this afternoon. It's KILLING me that he's home alone until Luke gets off work.
