Specifically YOur Library by Professor VonDrake.

I woke up at 4:30 this morning and rolled over and saw it was only 4:30 and I didn't have to be up until 5:30 because with it being Saturday and all, I didn't have to go out for my run because I meet my mom for breakfast on Saturdays. So I crawled back into bed and snuggled with Lily and Victor.

Flash forward 46 minutes later (at 5:16) when it friggin dawns on me that it is fucking friday NOT SATURDAY dumbasss!!!!!

So not only did i miss my morning run, but my whole morning routine was shot to hell. Needless to say, this day is going to blow.

I was sitting on the floor last night trying to comb my elderly cat because he gets tufty bits sometimes. He tried to escape and I bent forward quickly at the waist with my legs extended in front of me...and pulled something in my butt. It cracked, and I thought for a moment I had dislocated my hip but I think it was just the tendon being pulled over a bone. It hurts like a mofo today.

I gave my notice this week. It's bittersweet - I'm excited to start at a new place but I'll miss my friends here.

I went to a concert 3 hours away from home last night. Got home after 2 am, and was up at 5am for a full day of work. Leaving work at 4:30 to go to the same concert, this time by my house, thankfully. I am deliriously tired.

I REGRET NOTHING.

Today was my kiddo's last day of kindergarten. He's been really sick since Tuesday, and I didn't think he would be well enough to go today. He SO wanted to go and say goodbye to his friends and teacher. Well, he woke up with no fever!! So he made it to his last day of school. It's been such a long and difficult week that I got back to my car after walking him to the door and cried a little. And I teared up when I picked him up too.

I am that mom.

Matt Nathanson - My favorite performer/singer-songwriter. Also one of my favorite people on the planet. He was actually only the opener for The Fray and Train. I like the Fray, and LOVE Train in concert (so FUN!), so it's a must see show for me. I'm seeing them two more times on this tour, as well.
