  I just started The Bronze Horseman this weekend and I can't get into it. I don't know why I decided to pick up another WW2 historical fiction book right after finishing The Nightingale. I may need some chick lit or something light before I pick it back up.

  I continue to be amazed that my little book averages around one sale every other day.  Crazy!  Who knew there were other weirdos like me who read that stuff year-round.  In fact, even though it's a book of short stories for Halloween, I had sales on Christmas day, New Years Eve, etc.  

  
  

  I just looked at my stats since you asked, and since I hit Publish on October 1 of last year, I've had:

  
  

  - 163 Sales at full price

  - 143 "Borrows" at a lower price (if you have Kindle Unlimited, you can borrow certain books by paying a monthly subscription.  I still get a royalty, just at a discount.  It's good for sales rankings, so I've opted to stay in.)

  -789 free downloads on promo days

  
  

  for a total of 1095 copies of my book in other people's hands!

  
  

  My novel is coming along great!  The cover art just came in...I'm slightly obsessed with it!  I can PM the cover if anyone wants a sneak peek  I'll have a free promo day when it first comes out, so those of you who want to read don't have to buy a copy.

  I'm still reading the Anne of Green Gables series.  I finished the first book  and have checked out two more.  I also just finished a young adult series called Ever After High...since I'm a librarian I was reading it for research! It's a popular series and I wanted to know why.

  @brainybrunette - I read Girl on the Train and liked it.  Critics compared it to Gone Girl for some reason but I still can't really figure out why.

  I am reading How to Start a Fire.  It's okay.  Hopefully I will finish this book.  I started One Plus One and didn't finish.  Then I started The Narrow Road to the Deep North and didn't finish that either.

  @kittenwine I haven't read Anne of Green Gables since I was really little. It was a favorite of mine. I remember when my parents and I ventured up to Canada, I got a paper dollhouse with all the characters as a souvenir.

  Finished listening to Born in Shame, started Well of Ascension - Brandon Sanderson (Mistborn #2)

  I started Dust (wool #3), but I wasn't feeling it, so I started Always Next - Nora Roberts (Boonsboro Inn #1).  I like it so far, nice and fluffy.

  I'm also reading Get your hopes up - Joyce Meyers, I want to finally finish @ramstein1027's book, and I'm listening to The life changing magic of tidying up - Konmari. 

  Yup, that's 5 books... I have book A.D.D. right now.
