  WTF Office Manager and CEO - there is a dead battery on our battery backup for our server. It is beeping. Every.two.seconds (seriously). I ask you to see if you can make it stop beeping, because it's driving me crazy and I have a ton of work to do to get ready for our conference in 1.5 weeks. You walk in there, look at it, say "the battery needs to be replaced" and walk out. And proceed to your offices, where you can shut your door, on the other side of the office. Meanwhile, I sit 5 feet from the annoying beeping battery and have to listen to it all damn day long.
  
  When I have the "nerve" to ask when it's going to be replaced, you both look at me like I have a dick on my forehead.

  WTF jobs that I applied for....

  
  

  I have like 20 job applications out...not a single interview. All I have is the 1 interview almost 2 months ago (I don't know what they're waiting for to make a decision), 1 phone interview (for something I interviewed for before, that organization is such a mess that I don't really want to work there anyway), and 1 request for more information. 

  
  

  This whole process makes me feel like the most unqualified scum of the Earth. It was painful to sit through the Ph.D. graduation and here how "smart I am" and how many "transferable skills" I have. Apparently, none of the places I applied at realize or care about that.

  
  

  I'm not sure what my next step is, and it's been giving me crazy anxiety : /

  WTF self?  How are you so unmotivated at work?  There is so much to do in the next few weeks.  The less motivated you are, the more out of control the kids are getting.  Get it together!
  
  Side note, I need to move the kid that I have to have sit next to my desk.  I am typing comments for their cumulative cards (getting a head start on paperwork) and he is reading what I'm typing instead of doing his own work.
