What did you start, finish, neglect, or make progress on over the weekend?

Re: Weekend Reading

  • I finished "A Court of Thorns and Roses", which I loved.

Still trying to get through my DIA re-read. But I'm book hungover from ACoTaR.

  • I finished Dark Sparkler (poems by Amber Tamblyn about actresses who died before their time/the nature of celebrity) and The Walls Around Us (so good, but i'm still a little confused).

I started So You've Been Publicly Shamed by Jon Ronson.

    I completely neglected Great Expectations.

I finished The Warlord Wants Forever and I'm almost finished with Alice in Wonderland High by Rachel Shane. Alice is really cute and I love the creative ways she included touches of Wonderland into this retelling.
I also listened to a wee bit of The Mime Order, but I mostly do audiobooks during the week when I'm driving.

  • I finally finished Dead Wake by Erik Larson. It was totally fascinating and I highly recommend it for non-fiction lovers.

Finished my "secret book" which was Blue Lily, Lily Blue. It was the best book in the series so far. LOVED IT. I'm suffering from serious book hangover.

  • Finally finished Mara Dyer #3, and didn't care enough about it to look up the title. It was very, very disappointing.

Bummer. I really liked the first one, but have yet to continue the series.

  • @j*&p* don't waste your time. I hate not finishing series, but it's really not worth it.

  • @hoycie, I know, but in my defense I had already read 2 1/2 of these before you warned me. At that point I was already way too invested.

Thanks for the warning. Plenty of other books on my TBR anyway.
