Re: FRIDAY CONFESSIONS

  • I laid in my bed and cussed my library up and down last night because I ran out of time reading A Clash of Kings. I was all excited to read it last night before bed and it wasn't there. I seriously threw a hissy fit even though it was my own fault for not realizing my time was almost up.

I had to google this.  Disgusting, yet so fascinating.  Now I don't know if I should try this or amope pedi perfect.

I can't tell you how impressed I am with it.  It's the thing on Proboards so I thought I'd give it a try.  It really works!

How long does it take to come off?

I did it last Friday and it's been steadily coming off for about 3 days now.  My only hope is that it doesn't keep shedding for weeks!

I am in love with Butter shoes. I am really really really tempted to buy a few pairs just because they're cute and on sale even though they're dressy and I have nowhere to wear them.

It is just super tight and it has a very low cowl neck (which looks super low on me because I have no boobs to give it any umph).

  • I am debating "punishing" Madison tonight
Her social life far exceeds mine. That's not the issue. The issue is, I keep making plans to work on her room (I am redoing it, painting etc) and she keeps needing rides here, there and everywhere.

I finally got all the trim done, and am ready to start painting tonight and she whips an invitation to a drama party for tonight at me this morning.
    Grrrr.
So I am mentally already painting, but in order to take her, It would literally take 2 hours out of the night.  (Kid lives 1/2 hour away).

I told her to find a ride and have been debating all day if she can't find one, to make her miss the party.
I WANT to punish her and say "too bad" but it is the last drama party of her middle school years.

I really want to be evil mom though.
Here's hoping she finds a ride and I won't need to make the decision.

  • I watched this over and over before getting out of bed this morning. Mesmerizing. I love cats.

  • My SIL wants me and my H to go to this concert with her and her boyfriend on Sunday night (mostly because we live right by the venue and they want to crash at our place with their friends). I like 1 out of the 3 performers enough to spend the $50 on a ticket so I'm contemplating just tailgating and day drinking in the parking lot instead of actually going in.

  • Everyone here is completely stressed over the 611 locomotive return this weekend except for me. I kind of feel bad that I'm not wrapped into the craziness, too, but not really. I basically just have to show up tomorrow for 8 hours and take people's money. I feel justified in my chill attitude because I was all by my lonesome 3 months ago when I was stressing over getting my new exhibit opened. Turn about is fair play, right?

I have no clue what any of this means.

I did this yesterday. I had lace on top without a camisole underneath and I didn't realize my bra was showing until I got to work. I had a sweater on too (that wouldn't stay closed) but I somehow made it through...

I was going to send you this when I saw it this morning but the link wouldn't copy right! Glad you've watched it.

Were you on a kindle/nook or on your phone?

If you were on your kindle/nook, turn off the wireless if you are in the middle of a book.  Even if your loan runs out, you will still have a copy of your device (and the book will still be "returned" on time for the next patron).  The copy on your device won't disappear until you reconnect to wireless.
