That book gave me so many choked up heart swelling moments. Did you read it or listen to it? I bought a hard copy, but listened to the audiobook with her reading it and was so glad I did because it felt even more personal and heart opening that way, but I went and marked passages in the hard cover that really struck me.

I don't always love Amanda's music (actually I enjoy the words most of the time, but not so much the screaminess that sometimes happens), but I think she is a beautiful human being. So many things she said resonated with me (Take the donuts!!), and I'm awed and inspired by her radical openness and ability to trust people and lay it all out there like she does. Introverted planner me could never live like that, but I still admire the heck out of her. As a huge Neil Gaiman fan too, it was also so cool to hear the story of their relationship evolving.

I listened to it and I'm so glad I did. Her reading it just brings so much. I reference the Fraud/doubt police subject all the time. I'm going to get the paperback when it comes out and I actually bought the audiobook so I could re-listen.

May was not a good reading month.  I started and put down a lot of books but only read two:

Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll and A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas.

Both were decent.  A Court of Thorns and Roses started out SO great and I had very high hopes for it.  I am a sucker for fairy tale type stories.  The ending wasn't my favorite though.  Still, I enjoyed it enough to download Throne of Glass when it was the kindle deal of the day.
