What's happening/happened this month?

Re: June Updates
Not happening this month, but I'm going to be a great aunt. My niece (19, high school drop out, no job, no driving license) is due in December. My sister moved in with my parents, and I think my niece will be next... My mom has already set up boundaries (no borrowing the cars, etc), so hopefully this works out.
Work slowed down, so I can finally breathe.
Once MIL gets her work schedule, we will finalize the kids coming in July. I *think* she's bringing them up, or taking them back and we are flying with them the other way since they will be in GA. I don't know if I told you girls, but their mom got divorced on a Monday, and married on Thursday... Army guy #3
Zoo trip Sunday with H and two friends. Movie trip to Pittsburgh Wednesday with my childhood best friend. And mine and H's work picnic is at the end of the month at a local amusement park. We decided to attend this year and invite the family. Should be fun to drag the niece and nephew around the kid's kingdom.
I'm mostly excited because it'll get my mind off the losing the house stuff.
@consciousdear88 I am sorry that you lost the house, but it wasn't yours. (that's coming off nastier than I mean it to be, I mean it in a supportive way). When your house comes around, it will be amazing. We were outbid on 3 or 4 houses. One house we kept telling our realtor we wanted to see it and she dragged her feet. By the time she called the listing agent, it had an accepted offer. We had houses go under contract before our appointment even came. It was a long, frustrating experience. Our house came along and we rushed to see it and get an offer in. Everything went so smooth. You'll see, something better will come along.
The weekend after than, we fly to Michigan for a visit with my family and friends. This is the first time most of them will be meeting J.
Things have finally calmed down but the summer is always busy with my shows and DH's softball. Looking forward to a fun summer!
Last wednesday I started having pains really low stomach pelvic area- went to urgent care Friday they thought it might have been my appendix, sent me to er! Cat scan/ ultra sound a million blood drawn/ hooked up to iv!!! Ended up being admitted with pelvic inflammatory disease and a cyst on my ovaries! Had 2 spend 2 nights iv antibiotics and 14 more days of antibiotics after I left- I'm ok now but I had never been overnight in a hospital (the last time I probably was in a hospital for myself was when I was little) oh well back to work tomorrow!
June is chock full of fun stuff! My sister is coming up to visit from Georgia, and H and I are going to spend a weekend at my aunt's lake house in Massachusetts. Also, my birthday. No idea what I'm doing for that yet, but I'll sort something put! Work is still crazy for both H and I, so it's nice having some time to have fun with family and friends coming up. Granted, having time to relax at home would be nice too, but that'll have to wait till...mm...September, by the look of it. :P
This coming weekend is the only unplanned weekend for us. I am excited for the Belmont Stakes. I only watch the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont when it comes to horse racing. I really think American Pharaoh could win. I am holding out hope for a Triple Crown!
Next weekend, I am going with MIL and SILs to a wine festival. They've gone the past couple of years, but I haven't been able to go. I am so excited to finally go. There are a ton of good vineyards that go every year.
The weekend after is my birthday (June 19)!!!!! I also have a baby shower to go to and H's first Father's Day. I get to see New Kids on the Block that weekend also. I love them!
The last weekend we have my friend's son's second birthday and H's cousin's birthday/H's grandparents' anniversary. I believe this year is 61 or 66. I can't remember.
The last day of school is June 26. I am so excited for my summer with O. I am looking into activities for us to do.
