No name yet! We're taking suggestions. He's a 7-week old boy, just got neutered yesterday. We're keeping him separate from our other cat until his stitches have healed. She's not thrilled he's in the house, but they will get used to each other soon enough.
He's a talker, purr machine, and he has one freckle on his nose.
Re: AW: New kitten
I'm usually no good with picking out pet names, and usually name mine after characters in my favorite books. I think naming him Freckles might be a cute name for this little guy.

I don't know why, but I've always liked the name "Pickles" for a cat, though my like of that name came a few years after we already had our cat. We named her "Nip". It was my idea and my H liked it.
Then I found out months later we had totally different assumptions for her name, lol. I was thinking "Nip", like short for catnip. He was thinking "Nip", because she doesn't have a tail and it was like her tail was nipped off. It wasn't! And doesn't even look like that. She is a Manx breed and was just born without a tail. About half of Manxes either have no tail at all or just a short nub.
We kept the name the shelter gave our dog, "Izzy". We thought about changing it, but decided we liked it. We did decide it is short for Izzifore Ignatious. Even though she is a little girl and Ignatious is a boy's name.
He's adorable!!
I don't know anything about cat's but I just had to google some names:
Toby
Milo
Ace
Loki
Inquiring minds want to know...........did you decide on a name yet?
