The Best Man by Kristan Higgins- man I love her snarky sense of humor. If you like romance and funny family stories, you should check out her books.

I'm also reading some short stories here and there.

  • Yes, Please by Amy Poehler. I'm regretting not getting the audiobook of this. I'm dreadfully bored with it.

Driving with the Top Down by Beth Harbison. It's just ok.

I was very disappointed in The Rosie Effect. It was fine just not as charming as the first.

I'm reading Throne of Glass. So far so good! I'm only a few chapters in though.

  • I just finished "The Grip of God" by Rebecca Hazell last night.  It was #40 for the year.  I'm going to start my Harry Potter re-read tonight.

  • I just got to the epilogue of Sharp Objects (audiobook).  It was fantastic, even if I did see it coming a mile away.  I'm going to start a separate thread with spoilers, I think.

I'm reading Revival by Stephen King - it's so good!  I'm almost done with this too, and I'm really looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Both 5 stars, these are books 23 and 24 for the year.  I was hoping to hit 30 by the end of the month, but that's not looking too likely right now.
  • I'm making slow but measurable progress on the same book I've been reading for weeks.

  • I started "I was here" by Gayle Forman this week, 25% in it's really good, although sad. I need recommendations on uplifting books for a change.

  • I started the Iron Duke by Meljean Brook. I am only a couple of chapters in, but it reminds me a lot of Soulless by Gail Carringer. It has been okay so far. I think it is around 105 for the year.
