In Need of Good Vibes
So, I have some potentially very good news on the job front.
I just got off the phone with one of my networking contacts. She may have a temporary (with the possibility of it becoming permanent, if the stars align in the next few months) position for me. This is EXACTLY what I want to be doing and she would be an amazing mentor. Even if this doesn't turn into something permanent, she said she would help me get to where I need to be career wise.
I have an in person meeting with her next week (she wanted it to be sooner, but her schedule didn't allow for it). She also said that she was interviewing one other candidate, but the other person wasn't a good fit and that I was exactly what she was looking for. The other interview is just a formality to say that she interviewed multiple candidates
I'm trying not to get my heart too set on this happening, but I think I will be absolutely heartbroken if it doesn't work out. I've had so many opportunities dangled right in front of me only to be pulled away at the last second.
Good vibes are definitely appreciated!
