Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Just had to share exciting news about DH- he interviewed on Tuesday for a middle school job (grade 7 ELA) at a really great district (#2 in our area) and got the job yesterday afternoon! He'll find out more about salary once he talks to HR, but the highest step for teachers is over $20,000 more than his current school district's highest step (he is currently in the city and they have had their contract frozen since 2004 because the union president is crazy). It also seems like a very stable job with supportive administration. With the city, he's been at 3 schools with 7 principals in 6 years and laid off/rehired 3 times due to budget cuts/schools closing. So happy for him- he's really looking forward to the fall!
