  • Very slowly working my way through The World in Half by Cristina Henrique

  • I'm listening to The Ruins by Scott Smith.  I'm almost through disc 1 of 12, but so far so good.

I'm reading Sweet Tooth by Ian McEwan.  I generally LOVE Ian McEwan, but this one has been kind of slow going for me so far.  Maybe just because I'm so busy and stressed this week, I haven't had a ton of time to read, so it's only been a couple of pages at a time here and there.  I need a chunk of time to sit down and READ.

I picked up Paper Towns at the library last night and I'm considering setting Sweet Tooth aside for a few days because I know I will fly through John Green, probably over the weekend.  And it won't be renewable if I wait til I finish Sweet Tooth, because Paper Towns has a monster hold list right now.

  • I just blew through Finding Audrey and really liked it. I wasn't expecting much since Sophie Kinsella tends to be flufftastic but this was a very sweet story.

I just started I Regret Nothing by Jen Lancaster. I know I will love it because I always love her memoirs (the novels not as much).

I'm listening to Towers of Midnight (Wheel of Time #13) by Robert Jordan and am about halfway through it. I will be so sad when I finish these books. They're great for my commute.

I listened to this recently, so I'll be looking forward to hearing what you thought of it.

  • I am about to start Bayou Moon by Ilona Andrews, which is the PNR discussion pick for the month. It's a re-read, but I remember liking it. I think it is about 110 for the year.

@SnShne322 Has there been news of another book?!

For the first time ever, the library stars have aligned and I got notice that A Court of Thorns and Roses was ready for me this morning, just after I finished The Best Man by Kristan Higgins. The Best Man has made me an official Kristan Higgins fan girl. So beautiful and funny and well-written.

I'm finally close to the end of The Mime Order by Samantha Shannon. It's getting good toward the end.
