Alright, lay it on me, ladies!

I have been getting advice from everyone lately, so I want to know what the best advice you got while you were pregnant was!

And go!

Re: Alright, lay it on me, ladies!

  • Someone told me to forget the "baby book". No one has time to write all that stuff in it. ;)

Instead, use a calendar and jot a little note a couple days a week. Eg... first smile, love going for a walk, Mickey Mouse is your favorite book, etc. I made a scrapbook one for M then put a few pictures on the other side for that month. I'll share some pictures later tonight.

  • Oh and ignore the advice of most people, do what feels right for you!! ;)

  • Picture page for October

  • Go to a chiropractor!  I never had sciatica pain, hip pain etc.  I went before I got pregnant, but I was so glad I kept going.

I also wish I wrote a journal.  Just random stuff that happened, stuff Jeff said, things I felt while pregnant. I seriously remember none of it.  pregnancy brain turns to mommy brain and it's crazy.

  • Just enjoy pregnancy and your husband. People will tell you it goes by so quickly, and it really does. Before you know it the baby will be here and your lives will be hectic, and move even more quickly! (If that's possible!)
  • I agree with @amccul20 . I loved being pregnant and it did go by really fast. But life after baby seems faster. I actually called yesterday to schedule M's 4 year check up. Its not til January, but I still wanted to cry.

  • I think the best advice is also to just soak everything in. Some days you feel like you've been pregnant forever, and then in a blink of an eye, you're checking in at the hospital.
