Rec: Defy series by Sara Larson (ns)
I'm working on book 2 right now and book 3 isn't available until January 2016, but I'm really enjoying these! I love both the MC and there's enough heart string tugging and happy and sad that I think others would really like this series. I think there will only be 3 for these characters, but I think she's hinted at a spinoff? I just wanted to recommend them if you are looking for an easy enjoyable YA trilogy.
