In my quest to clean as little as possible, I have been researching robot vacuums. Do any of you have one? Would you recommend it?
Re: NBR: Robot Vacuums
I think her only gripe is that it gets full a lot. She has 3 cats and 2 dogs; all long haired except for one dog. I'm fairly confident she told me that it runs daily and often gets full and just returns to the base without finishing. Maybe someone else can weigh in on that. I really can't imagine it would get full each day like that, but I've never actually seen it in action.
Come to think of it, my brother has one as well, but has had no complaints on about hair. They have 2 cats.

I don't think it works as well as our Dyson but it's great for a quick job. We had a German Shepherd who shed like mad and it did okay picking up the hair.
You're only supposed to do one room at a time so if you want the whole house done, that would take a while with charging/whatnot.
I think our small handheld Dyson does a much better job on our tile than the Roomba. The Roomba could take an hour to do the front hall and kitchen when I could use the small vac and finish in 5 minutes.
We bought ours from Bed, Bath and Beyond with a 20% coupon with the guarantee we could return it if we didn't like it, which was nice.
