Early Scan Question
Soooo I guess I'm back. Again.
Question: I've said this a bunch so I'm sorry, but I have a nurses appointment on the 25th. From what I understand, it'll be my prenatal labs, going over medical history, etc. I'll be eight weeks. My first official appointment with the doctor is the 10th, when they'll listen to the baby's heartbeat and whatnot. I"ll be 11 weeks.
I guess my question is: is it weird that they are waiting to listen for the baby's heartbeat until I'm eleven weeks, given my history of miscarriage? Maybe it's just me being anxious, and I just wanna hear if the baby has a normal heartbeat and it'll put my mind more at ease. I almost wanna ask to do an early scan, I'll pay for it out of pocket.
Gah. I"m such a worry wart. I gotta knock it off or I"m gonna go crazy.
