Preschool Decision
My mom and I toured 2 preschools last Thursday. (DH couldn't get time off of work.) I had 10 questions on a clip board, lol. I didn't want to forget to ask something. The first one we toured is 15 minutes from where I will be working. It is a nice school. We were able to talk to the teachers and Liliana interacted with the kids that would be in her class. I had a good feeling about this one.
The next school was the Goddard school. It is 3 minutes from my school. I wasn't overly impressed. We weren't introduced to the teachers at all. They just waved to us, but the teachers at the other school spent 10 minutes talking to us. The director kept referring to her class as the "get set" class, meaning they get set for preschool. To me that implies that she would be in more of a daycare style class. She wouldn't actually be in a "preschool" class until 3 and a half. Also, it is $1600 a year more than the other school, so it looks like the first one is the winner. I am happy with my choice. I hope Liliana loves it. She will be there 3 days a week. I will be so nervous at first!
