Trump down 26% in national poll from pre-debate numbers

Thank god.  Jeez louise.

This has a good round up of the polls that came out Tuesday showing national numbers plus Iowa and New Hampshire: http://nypost.com/2015/08/11/carly-fiorina-surging-in-polls-after-winning-gop-debate/

Re: Trump down 26% in national poll from pre-debate numbers

  • Good. All these polls have candidates all over the place! Sheesh. I can't believe that. So, I think they are decent indicators of who the eventual GOP nominee will be, and we can eliminate many from the list of contenders, but it's too early to tell.
  • Too bad for him. Yah, really really too bad.

I can tell you that while I think a lot of people can agree Kasich made a lack luster showing in the debate, since the debate he's been running fantastic ads here in NH, which probably contributed to his jump in NH polls.  I think the polls are all over the place because different candidates have focused time and money in different states.  Rubio basically hasn't been here at all, which probably accounts for his poor polling here in NH, as an example.
