  • Nope.  Someone is fucking with us. That was totally an E when I was little.

    In high school, there was this guidance counselor/girls track coach named Mr. Dolce.  For my first 2 years of HS and for the entire history of his time there (according to others who were there before me) his name was pronounced [dolss].  One syllable, soft ssss sound, like dunce.  But when we got back to school in my 11th grade year, he had added an accent over the E that was never there before and started going by [dol-chay], like the Italian pronunciation.

    I think that's what's happening with the bears.

  • I don't care for this at all. I almost hate the internet because it ruins lives daily.

    I thought it was Bernstein, until I started working in a library and noticed I was dropping the second "e" my entire life.
