I just started My Life Next Door by Huntley Fitzpatrick, which I think was a rec from you all. So far so good, but I'm only like 10% into it.
Still listening to Dead Wake by Erik Larsson, which is fantastic.

my read shelf:
I'm reading An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir and also a book of short stories called Jagganath by a Swedish author, Karin Tidbeck. I discovered Jagganath on Chuck Wendig's blog in a post where he asked his readers to recommend their favorite off the radar books. If you like short stories, this is one of the best, most inventive collections I've ever read. It has the whimsey of Neil Gaiman, but with less horror and more poignancy. I really hope she has other novels and stories translated to English because I plan to ready anything else of hers I can get my hands on afterward. An Ember in the Ashes is pretty good too, though I'm getting a little burnt out on YA fantasy with kingdoms and such.

Ooh, yes. I'm a little over halfway and it's getting so good.
@angelashly, what do you think so far? I thought the very beginning was a little slow, but loved the rest, though Naughty John scared the bejesus out of me.
