Cookies sound amazing.

My confession is that I hope P's "sick" day bites him in the butt. Maybe it's lack of sleep or pregnancy hormones. Yes he was up at 4:00 with me when Lily was getting sick. And he was helpful in that he got me a wet rag and went to the store for sprite, but that's it. He shut himself in our room and left me to clean her and her room. He went back to bed and was going to go into work late but then decided not to go. He worked from home a little and has been playing on his computer the rest of the day. And of course as soon as Lily was saying her stomach hurt last night, two hours later he was saying his did too. Which always happens when either Lily or I get sick. It's like he thinks or wishes he was sick too. Meanwhile I'm over here hoping and praying I don't get it. Okay more of a rant.

We resulted to co-sleeping with Abby. I don't care what other people say. Maybe I do a little. Nap and bedtime are so much easier when she is falling asleep with us in our room.

We start off with Ryan in his bed. He eventually ends up in ours sometime during the night.

We co sleep at night as well. She starts in her RnP but after the first feeding, she has a hard time going back down if it isn't in our bed. I am not a fan of it because I am so worried that I will kill my baby, so I don't sleep as well. I will say it allows me some sleep rather than none.

Last night there were 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs in my bed.

Yep co-sleeping happens here too.

You guys are all making me feel better. I tried so hard over the past year to have Abby go to sleep in her toddler bed in her room. I would be goalie and not let her score by getting out of her bed. It was so frustrating for us. Then she let me rock her and I'd put her in her bed after she was asleep. It is way less stressful just co-sleeping, plus now I don't have to sleep on the hard floor in her room if she is restless.

We clattered co-sleeping around 2 months because I got more sleep that way. We co-slept until Lily was 18 months. Then we had that same fight of trying to put her and keep her in her toddler bed. We ended up rocking her to sleep, putting her in her bed but half way through the night she was back in our bed. When we got her twin I was able to start laying next to her instead of rocking her. She kept co-sleeping part way through the night. But it's slowly gone from an every night thing to a very rare thing. I'm all for co-sleeping now as long as it's done safely. For this next baby I would love one of those co-sleepers that attaches to the side of the bed.

Late but....

It's football season and I get way, way intense during games. Like I am worse than Ty. Watching the Lions right now and there's been lots of yelling at the TV. Good thing Sweet Pea can't hear yet

Look for one of these. Babies R Us, BuyBuyBaby, etc carry these. Even on Amazon...

This sounds sooooo much like my DH! I feel ya!

Look for one of these. Babies R Us, BuyBuyBaby, etc carry these. Even on Amazon...

I had one of these but it wouldn't fit in our queen bed with both of us in there. It is really designed for a king bed. If you have a king, I highly recommend it.

I have been looking at those but wasnt sure it was worth it because she might outgrow it fast with her length?

Since you have a king, you should get it. It is worth it beacuse the resale is great on those. I got mine on Ebay for $35 and it was used. You could always sell it when she outgrows it.
