Re: Happy Friday!

  • I don't have anything going on kindle at the moment. I'm listening to vision in white again because I needed a little bit of happy this week.

  • Still reading "Wayward". I'm down to the last 100 pages, hoping I can finish it off this weekend.
  • The Boy Most Likely To by Huntley Fitzpatrick and Who Do You Love by Jennifer Weiner have sat untouched for the past 3 days. Sigh.

They'll be 93 and 94 for the year.

  • I started The Nightingale last night. About 40 pages into it. It's due Monday so I hope to get some reading in this weekend.

I just downloaded The Raven Boys on my kindle so that is my new work book.

Swimming and Dance starts again next week so I'll get some more kindle reading time in on those days.

  • I'm about 3/4 of the way through Primates of Park Avenue. After I finish it I'm going to start the NK Jemisin book I grabbed at the library.

  • I'm rereading Kresley Cole's Arcana Chronicles series because I got the third one out from the library earlier this week.

I'm halfway through Endless Knight and it's just as great the second time around.

Isn't it? I reread them all this year too and love them just as much in the rereads.

  • I just started Lair of Dream by Libba Bray this week. It's good so far, but is giving me anxiety. Since the first book gave me nightmares and trouble sleeping I've been hesitant to read it at night, especially since last week was my first week of the semester and I wanted to be sure I was rested and fresh to teach in the mornings, but at the same time, new Libba Bray! She's one of my all time favorite authors and it's been way too long since I've had new of hers to read.

I'm also still listening to I am Malala and working my way through Jagganath, a book of short stories by Karin Tidbeck. I think I'm going to listen to Felicia Day's book next.
