Does anyone have gift suggestions for what we should send our friends for their baby's christening. We have a wedding the same day and cannot make it
Re: Christening
My aunt bought a $25 savings bond for either my birth or my christening (forget which). My mom put it in her safety deposit box and then totally forgot about it for 20 years. Fortunately, I was just about to go on my first cruise when she decided to clean said safety deposit box out.
It was worth over $75! It was definitely awesome to have some extra unexpected money right before a trip. I thanked my aunt for her gift given all those years ago and what a great time I had on my cruise.
A gift certificate for a place where mom & dad can get the baby something they need like diapers, clothing, or toys. I know gift cards can seem not personal, but I think it can help the parents not end up with a bunch of things they don't need, and when they do need something, like clothes as the baby grows, it can help them with the cost of that.
