  • Yup.  Tate loves it, too.
  • Beau is being a stinker about it. I got all excited when I saw it on Netflix and he looked at me like I was crazy.

You can't let them know you like things!

"I'm only letting you watch this because everything else on Netflix is broken. You can never watch it again because it's for bigger kids."

    Guaranteed favorite show.
So true! I want him to watch The Sword in the Stone so bad and he just won't. Drives me nuts.

My other favorite is "I think this might be too old for you.  I don't know if you can handle it."
  • The tween caught me watching Reading Rainbow and actually snickered at me. I don't even try to get her to watch it. She started watching Vampire Diaries so she's of course incredibly mature.
Oh, I would love to have someone to watch TVD with!

  • I used to get all of the old 80's cartoons and movies on Netflix for my kids (i.e. He-man, Smurfs, Gummy Bears, Thundercats, Inspector Gadget, etc.)  They loved them!  They hate the Charlie Brown holiday specials though and it drives me crazy!  How can you not like them?  My nieces and nephews hate Charlie Brown too.

DS is not a huge fan of Charlie Brown either. He loves the older Chip & Dale cartoons though. Do you guys remember when you could rent the VHS tapes that featured a certain Disney character? I freaking loved those!

  • My kids are having a Smurfs birthday party!  We watch all that old stuff on Netflix and get DVDs from the library.  She gets scared by Scooby Doo sometimes if she's watching it alone.

Did you know there is a new Inspector Gadget?  Tatum will ask to watch "mommy's Inspector Gadget" or "new Inspector Gadget."
  • I saw the new one on Netflix but we haven't watched it. Izey is obsessed with spies and secret agents so I'm sure he'd love it. Maybe I'll save it for a snowy winter day and let him watch about 200 episodes.

  • I must be living under a rock because I didn't even know this was on Netflix.

  • I didn't know it was on Netflix either but I will check it out. While I don't have kids I loved Reading Rainbow. My husband doesn't really like it either, although sadly his family doesn't really read.

On a side note, I hate the 80's cartoon remakes. I loved my little pony, the new one's ok but it's so different. I heard they're trying to make a new Rainbow Brite and that breaks my heart, she was my favorite.

My dd loves the Charlie Brown holiday specials, but wont watch any of the others.

I didn't realize Reading Rainbow was on there though so I will try to get her to watch some tonight.
