Things are looking up! **Update in Thread**
I've had a few great interviews lately and I just got paperwork to authorize a background check! My former boss texted me today to let me know that the hiring manager had called for a reference (this potential new job is for the sister company of my previous employer, so this was an "internal" reference check) and she gave me a great review.
If the offer comes through this would be a full time work from home position!!!! The company would pay for the phone and our home internet (woohoo!) and a slim chance that they would partially reimburse my cell phone.
The only down side is that this will likely be a pretty significant pay cut over what I was making at my previous position, but I'm working off of information on glassdoor.com (self reporting salary site) and there is only one salary reported for this job title and I don't know how recent it is. It could be way off base and regardless, it will be a lot more than what unemployment is paying.
Please say a prayer that this all works out, I only have about 7 weeks of unemployment benefits left!

I'm really hoping this works out for you! I know it has been a rough road after getting a job and then it went away after 3 weeks.
Hopefully the pay cut, if there is one, won't be too bad. Especially considering you are an internal candidate. And I would think that working from home, in addition to having some of your bills paid, will mean other savings as well. Like less gas, etc.
